VETMEDIN has been shown to extend survival compared with treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors alone1,2 and to improve quality of life.1 When used from the start of clinical signs as part of a standard CHF treatment protocol, VETMEDIN keeps dogs going. VETMEDIN is indicated for the management of the signs of mild, moderate, or severe CHF in dogs due to atrioventricular valvular insufficiency (AVVI) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) .3,4 VETMEDIN is also approved for concurrent use with other cardiac treatments (eg, furosemide) as appropriate on a case-by-case basis.
